What you will learn

  • Tips for jumping, transitions and upwind riding

Skill Level

  • Must be a minimum of intermediate skill level (can ride on both tacks, able to relaunch kite in deep water, can perform simple jumps and can transition tacks)

What to bring

  • Sunglasses (with strap) and hat (sun can be in your eyes when flying the kite)
  • Warm clothing (is often colder at the exposed beach then in town)
  • Water shoes (aqua-socks) if you have them
  • Wetsuit
  • Water and a snack

Locations

Will meet at a boat ramp to load up onto the seadoo. Launch options (dependent on wind and wave conditions)

Lake St.Clair

  • West Belle River Boat Ramp
  • Lighthouse Cove
  • Mitchell’s Bay

Lake Erie

  • Cedar Beach Ramp (Kingsville)

End Goal: Improve your skills so you can take safe sessions at your local spot
